With Melanie winning again, the U 14 girl`s title is spoken for with yet another record breaking performance; this time by a further 8 seconds.
In the same race Sam Till and Dean Sutton finished third and fifth respectively, but were very close to being a position higher with excellent runs.Anyone who finishes ahead of Melanie is no slouch!
The afternoon started with the Under 12`s race where Dale Sutton got the better of Ben Till this week with both running well to finish second and fourth respectively. Ben had to leave his football match at half time to get to this event.
Alex Till`s efforts to run after a week off school with illness did not pay this time. Such is the nature of this competition though, that he can forget about the result and hope to improve on it later.
Finally, after weeks of preparation, Andrew Hodgkinson came out to run a `fab` fifth in the Senior race ahead of ex Dallam runner Mike Meadowcroft who was eighth.
