The weather forecast threatened to be awful and eventually it was, but not before two of the three junior races had finished.
Alex Till and Kathy Gill in the U17`s had to suffer cold driving rain and strong winds in their race, but it brought out their qualities. Alex again showed his strength in ascending and descending to finish well ahead in first place.
Kathy ran her best race yet finishing second; her highest position and one that reflects the terrific progress she has made since January.
Our strong U14 girl`s contingent again provided the first three places with Melanie out in front ably supported by Robin, Jane and Reanne in 2nd, 3rd and 6th .
In the same race Dean Sutton and Sam Till were very competitive again finishing in 3rd and 4th places.
The U12`s saw three Dallam runners pushing themselves for League points. Dale Sutton kept ahead of Ben Till for the entire race to finish a good second whilst Ben had to settle for fourth.
By the time the Senior race started the hyperthermia conditions were about, but Dennis Nelson, Ray and Dawn Gill went ahead in a mixture of quaint and colourful waterproofs. Well done all.
