Message from Dowy that might be of help to those travelling to the after Christmas run from around Lancaster.
Basically forget the bus.
Train though leaves Lancaster at 11 am and goes direct to Staveley arriving ½ hour later. Returns from Staveley at 6, 7, and 9.05 pm. Return ticket costing £10.
