Nov 28th MLL Liverpool (Sefton Park)
Note that if you attend this you will need to get a number from the MLL tent
Dec 5th Cumbria HL ( Keswick)
Fitz Park was badly affected by the recent floods (90% underwater and damage to paths etc.) Even so Keswick think the cross country can go ahead OK. Even so you should check that the races/venue are OK before travelling.
Dec 13th Cumbria County Ch Barrow
EF on reverse. The event is also a selection race for the Inter-County Ch at Birmingham. If you want to run for Cumbria, you should enter - even though you are not able to run at Barrow. Cumbria is likely to need runners at u17 and u20 level.
You do not need a county qualification to compete in the under11. Guests are allowed in other races.
Dec 19th MLL Burnley (Townley Park)
You will need to use the number you had at Crooklands. Townley Park is on the SE side of Burnley
Jan 9th Cumbria HL ( Carlisle)
Bitts Park was badly affected by the 2005 floods, but not apparantly by the recent events. To get to the course take the road to the side of the castle and follow the signs for the Sheepmount.

Jan 16th MLL Blackpool
The Cumb schools champs is on the same day (at Sedbergh)
Jan 23rd Northern Championships Blackburn
Entries for this must be made in advance. Closing Date Dec14th You can only enter through the club- not as an individual If you want to run, please contact me asap.
Take the A677 from M6 at Preston turn to left past a school on top of hill leads down to Witton Park. There are no under 11 races but you can run in u13 if you are 11 on the day of the race.
The course has a feature known as “the saucer “ - a climb up a fell type hill with a run down cumulating through a farm gate and often very muddy.
Feb 13th MLL Hyndburn
At Clayton le Moors turn left at the crossroads/lights
Feb 27th English Championships (Roundhay Park Leeds)
You do not need to qualify to enter this. It is a similar race to the Northern but with more runners. Again no under 11 races.
The Start of the races, especially the Senior Mens, is one of the great sights of Athletics.
Dallam once managed to field a team finishing 158th team out of 162.

Mar 6th MLL Barrow
Same venue as County Champs
March 13th Inter-Counties.
No venue fixed as yet, but the West Midlands is the most likely. Probably further away than Nottingham, but easier to get to.
