The usual venue for the `not to be missed` sausage sizzle on Wednesday, 31st March will be at John Hodgson`s at Carr Bank.
This brings together our Juniors and Seniors to celebrate the beginning of the `light nights` and to give out some prizes to the Juniors who have been competing in the Kendal Winter League again this year.
Runners please be ready to go at 7pm, not arriving then. Seniors go over towards Silverdale quarry and then around Arnside Knott whilst Juniors have an egg hunt somewhere around Fairy Steps. Juniors can opt for either run but Seniors can`t.
Family non-running members are welcome and can assist in getting the food ready for your return or keeping the fire going. You need to bring your sausages, buns and drinks with tray bakes if possible; hand in the food,get your badges on and mingle.
Dogs can go on the Senior run, but best kept in cars afterwards as they tend to have a strong penchant for sausages and cats; and we have five of those! Don`t blame me. It was our daughter`s fault and now she has gone off to live in Oz.
