This annual event celebrates both the accomplishments of our juniors in the Kendal Winter League and the arrival of the light nights again! There are prizes for all juniors who have run at least once, but bigger prizes for those who have run five or more races.
So the venue is at Carr Bank. Go to Milnthorpe, turn at the lights for Arnside, go past the Ship Inn and over the 's' bend bridge. Turn left at the Garden Centre and then right going straight along Carr Bank Road for 300m till you see lots of cars parked. Plan to arrive about 6.45pm as the runs start prompt at 7.00pm. A longer run goes via Hazelslack Tower, Arnside Tower and Arnside Knott and the shorter one up to Fairy Steps. Bring a change of clothing if it is a wet night.
Meanwhile non-runners have sausages to cook, fires to keep going and jobs-a -plenty so do come along. Bring your sausages, buns and drink to the kitchen before your run and a tray bake if you can (though some will be provided}. All club members are invited, partners, mums and dads and it is a good night where everyone can meet each other.
