Our Christmas run and meal this year will be held on the 28th December.
As with previous years, we will meet in Staveley Yard before setting off at 13.00. The full run will be approximately 11miles long but with options to shorten if required.
There will also be a walking option available for those that prefer.
Post run we will have time to sample one or two beverages from the Hawkshead Brewery whilst giving Wilf’s time to prepare for the onslaught of hungry, smelly runners!
We will have exclusive use of Wilfs who will be providing their usual delights of Turkey Caserole, Salmon pie or Veggie Lasagne, plus puddings of course.
It is worth noting that Wilf’s isn’t licensed and so you will have to bring your own alcohol should you want.
In keeping with tradition we will be holding the fabled raffle after our meal and Mark Bell has kindly requested members to bring prize donations on the day… will the “white sport socks” make a return for a fourth year!
Also I have been assured, our quiz master Mark O Shaughnessy will be conducting his legendary general knowledge quiz which is sure to be be both popular and assuredly competitive.
