"Each
year for 16 years we have successfully put on the Haweswater Half
Marathon. Next year's race takes place on Sunday the 5th of March. The
race has been described by runners who travel to our county to run it as
one of the most scenic in England. Runners run along the length of
Haweswater with the stunning backdrop of the Lake District fells.
As a small running club, in a rural part of the country, we enjoy welcoming runners to run this race from all over the UK.
