Our Christmas run and meal this year will be held on the 28th December.
As usual we will meet in Staveley Yard before departing on our run at 13.00.
The route is yet to be confirmed but will be approximately 11miles long and with options to shorten if required.
Post run we will have time to visit the Hawkshead Brewery whilst Wilf’s prepare for the onslaught of hungry, smelly Dallamites! Once again we will have exclusive use of Wilfs who are providing Turkey & Ham casserole with stuffing, Salmon Koubliac Pie and vegetarian option of Spinach, Mushroom & Chestnut Lasagne with the usual "extras" and a mince pie for pudding. Please note that Wilf’s isn’t licensed and so please bring your own alcohol should you want.
There will be our "special" raffle after our meal and Mark Bell has kindly asked if members could bring prize donations on the day. Who knows, we may even see the return of the “white sport socks” after a years sabbatical!
I have still yet to conclude negotiations with our quiz master Mark O Shaughnessy but I am sure his legendary general knowledge quiz is assured to be one of the highlights of the day.
